Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence

The Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law (also called Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence or AI convention) is an international treaty on artificial intelligence. It was signed on 5 September 2024.[1] The treaty is intended to protect human rights, to protect democracy from misinformation, and stop damage to government institutions by AI.[2]
