Love Blue Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ocean conservation and environmental protection, primarily through grassroots efforts and community engagement. Founded in 2019 by CEO AJ Caruso, the organization began with local beach cleanups in New Jersey and has since expanded nationwide, with chapters across the United States, including New Jersey, South Carolina, Hawaii, Florida, and Illinois. Love Blue's mission is to raise awareness about ocean pollution, with a particular focus on the impact of cigarette butts—the ocean’s most prevalent pollutant—and plastic waste.
The organization collaborates with local communities, businesses, and schools to host beach cleanups, educational programs, and creative environmental initiatives. Love Blue's notable projects include the "Cigs Inside" Surfboard and "Bottle Cap" Sunglasses, both created from waste collected during cleanups to promote sustainable design.
