Scottsdale Mint, established in 2008 by owner and CEO Josh Phair, is a U.S.-based manufacturer, designer, and distributor of precious metal products. The company specializes in gold and silver bullion, coins, and bars, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Scottsdale Mint manufactures the legal tender currency in gold and silver for over 20 sovereign nations.[1]

History

[edit]

Scottsdale Mint began operations in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2008. In 2011, the company established its main facility in Scottsdale, which serves as the center for design, manufacturing, and distribution.[2] [3] In 2022, Scottsdale Mint expanded its operations with a new facility in Casper, Wyoming. [4] This new minting facility houses various operations, including melting and casting, surface finishing, die production, coining, vaulting, and packaging.
