    1. in 1st and 4th a tower Or gated Azure
    2. 2d and 3d lion rampant Gules crowned with a ducal cornet Or;
  3. on an oval escutcheon Azure a fleur-de-lis Or;
  4. and Sable a triangle on its base charged with a sun ombre de soleil Or between three mullets of the like pierced of the field.

  • Background: The coat of arms was approved on 1991-08-22.

  • au I, d'argent à six vergettes de gueules, à la hache de pierre et au tomahawk renversés au naturel et passés en sautoir brochant sur le tout ; au chef d'azur chargé d'une coiffe de guerre amérindienne tarée de face au naturel brochant sur la partition
  • au II, écartelé :
    • au 1 et 4, de gueules à une tour d'or ouverte d'azur
    • au 2 et 3, d'argent à un lion de gueules à une couronne ducale d'or
    • un écusson ovale d'azur chargé d'une fleur-de-lis d'or brochant sur l'écartelure
  • au III, de sable à un triangle d'or chargé d'une ombre de soleil accompagné de trois molettes du même percé du champ.
