Description
English: 1951 Tour de France automobile was won by Pierre "Pagnibon" Boncompagni (far left) and navigator Alfred Barraquet driving the 1951 Ferrari 212 Export Touring Barchetta s/n 0078E. The race was 5 239 km and started 30 August in Nice and lasted to 12 September 1951 with arrival back in Nice. Boncompagni was from Nice and the car was/may have been borrowed from Luigi Chinetti.[1]
