Summary

Description
English: The arms were officially granted on August 9, 1927.

Blazon: „Per fess, the chief per pale of Or, an eagle Sable langued Gules, and Gules, a crozier issuant from the fess point Argent with a bandrol Argent; in base Azure, an arm issuant from sinister clothed with a sleeve Sable and a cuff Argent holding a judge staff in bend Or.“

The arms show in the upper half the arms of the Princely Abbey of Chiemsee, to which the town historically belonged. The base shows the hand of a judge and indicates that the town was the seat of a court for a very long time.
