Purpose of use

To illustrate the articles HMAS Anzac (FFH 150) (the ship depicted in the photo) and Australian contribution to the 2003 invasion of Iraq (the military operation the ship was participating in). The photo illustrates the first time an Australian warship had fired its guns in anger since the early 1970s and represents a significant event in Australia's involvement in the invasion of Iraq.
