English: Araurakot, an ancient site located in the northeast, about 8 kilometers from Taulihawa Bazaar in Kapilvastu district of Nepal. Ancient walls can still be seen at this site. It is shaped like a large playground. As there are ancient ruins at this site, the Department of Archeology of the Government of Nepal has acquired it for excavation. PC Mukherjee, after studying this place, first certified it as a place associated with Buddha under Kanakamuni.
