Summary

English: Thomas Raffles Davison's sketch of part of the cooling-room and cold plunge pool in Alfred Waterhouse's Victorian Turkish bath in Brighton's Hotel Metropole, c.1890. Unlike many architectural drawings, there has been no artistic licence here relating, eg, to height, which is well borne out by Messrs W & AH Fry's contemporary (copyrighted) photographs.
