Description
English: Carbuncle is a cluster of furuncles or boils. Carbuncle appears as tender, red, swollen skin with multiple pus heads. The patients with diabetes mellitus and immuno-compromised status are at high risk of developing carbuncles. This photo was captured by Dr. Muzammil Irshad (Layyah, Pakistan), after having consent from the patient.
