Summary

Description
English: Set deep in the Kali Gandaki gorge, the village of Chhusang is surrounded by gigantic red, orange and silver gray cliffs spotted with now inaccessible cave dwellings. These are ancient settlement sites in the region. The caves have been occupied from 9th century B.C. up to the 17th century A.D. Notice also the chortens and prayer wall on the cliffs.
