Summary

[edit]

I made this using paint.exe and reducing its size in PhotoShop. I created 36 boxes, then colored them in one-by-one, starting with red in the top right and the bright turquoise in the lower left. When I was done, I decided to rotate the entire chart 90 degrees to create a "primary spectrum" going from white (lower left) to black (upper right). The result was my solution to color-coding a world map of the Muhammad Cartoons controversy. It could be used to show the level of public interest in an issue and at the same time which way the public is leaning. Or, for instance, in mapping out the bird flu, the colors could indicate level of infection going across, and level of healthcare breakdown going up.MegaYacht 21:58, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
