Summary

Description
English: A Curtiss TS-1 from the Langley Aeronautical Laboratory at Hampton, Virginia (USA). The Curtiss TS-1 was a Naval Aircraft Factory designed fighter, for which Curtiss won the contract for production. The TS-1 was the first air-cooled radial engined fighter for the U. S. The NACA used their example for (among other things) pontoon pressure distribution testing.
