Notes

Inès Esménard ou d'Esménard (1789-1859), était la fille de l’académicien Joseph Alphonse Esménard (1769-1811). Elle fut élève du peintre en miniature Jean-François Hollier, d'après le Journal des artistes, deuxième série, tome 2, 26e livraison du 22 juin 1845, p. 225 (nécrologie de Jean-François Hollier). Elle peignit également des peintures à l'huile sur toile et fut active à Paris de 1814 à 1851.
