Summary

Description
English: A model of the original paper-making machined invented by Louis Robert in France in 1799. This was taken to England by John Gamble and patented in England. Henry and Sealy Fourdirinier bought one-third of the patent rights. It is hand-powered. The development to mechanical power, originally using a water-mill, was the work of Bryan Donkin. The model is in the museum of the Frogmore Paper Mill
