Summary

Description

The TACOM was developed by Fuji as a platform to test technologies for future air-launched UAV projects. The name is a shortening of TAyouto COgata Mujinki, which translates as "multi-role small UAV”. Six were built between 1995 and 1998 and served until 2011. This example is preserved in the markings of the Air Development & Test Wing (AD&TW) at Gifu and is on display at JSDF Fuchū, the former Fuchū Air Base. Fuchū, Tokyo Japan
