Summary

Description
Русский: Кош-Агачский заказник, Кош-Агачский район
English: About 10,000 years ago, a lake formed by an ice barrier in the outlet of the Chuya Basin is thought to have been catastrophically drained, leading to the en:Altai flood, one of the largest documented floods in history. These giant ripples formed presumably by the drag of the lake water while being abruptly emptied.
