Description
English: Herbert Maximilian Fox House, County Road 69, Santiago, Sherburne County, MN. The farmhouse, a small subsistence-type rural dwelling of mid-19th century Minnesota, is an example of pioneer architecture utilizing vertically arranged oak planks that are completely load bearing; no other known houses in Minnesota utilizing this type of vertical plank wall construction.
