KANDAHAR TEN-MILER

U.S. Army troops pass by the starting point of the Army Ten-Miler run on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, Oct. 4, 2009. More than 900 runners from 14 coalition forces participated in the run. Based in Washington, D.C., the Army Ten-Miler committee selected the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, deployed as the U.S. Army aviation asset to the southern region, to host the run for troops in Regional Command South.
