Summary

Description
English: Italy Italy, Livorno, Viale di Antignano 103, Villa Mascagni. It was built in 1916 by Ginevra Sampieri along the road once called Viale Principe di Napoli. The façade is symmetrical divided into three vertical parts of which the center is occupied by the main door surmounted by a balcony. In the same year the property was owned by Pietro Mascagni by notarial act of July 6 and registered on 24 in Livorno. In this villa Mascagni composed the “Lodoletta” and “Il piccolo Marat”. Following the death of Mascagni the villa passed to the sons Domenico and Emilia who decided, at first time, to transform it into a Museum. In 1958 the property was sold to Fernanda Fernandez Affricano in Pacella.
