The Commanding Officers of 21st Army Group: Lt General J T Crocker CB CBE DSO MC, Commander of British 1st Corps, watching the fighting near Caen from a jeep. With him are his ADC Captain Cross and Lance Corporal Marsden, his driver. 1st Corps encompassing British and Canadian forces landed at SWORD and JUNO.
