Description
English: FIRST PAF SEAPLANES: The World War 2 fame Consolidated PBY Catalina flying boat acquired on November 1954 is the PAF's first seaplane/amphibian. It was used to great against insurgents of the Kamlon Rebellion in Mindanao in the mid-1950s. The PAF "Cats" interdicted the rebels' supply route in the sea lanes between Mindanao and Borneo... The PBY Catalina was replaced by the more modern and capable Grumman Albatross.
