English: This is the portrait of British Communist Leader Rajani Palme Dutt that was hung on the stairs of the second floor of People's Publishing House (PPH) office at 5E, Rani Jhansi Road, New Delhi. This photograph was clicked and first published by the Communist Party of India, in 1946 when RPD was visiting India. This building of PPH is officially called R. Palme Dutt Bhawan or Rajani Palme Dutt Bhawan in the honour of RPD.

This photograph was first clicked and published by Communist Party of India in 1946 in its newspaper “People’s Age”. Outside India it was first published in Great Britain in 1946. Please see RPD in India, 1946.. Photographer is not known. It is in public domain in India because it was published prior to 1958. This particular portrait belongs to Communist Party of India, and I just clicked this photograph on the stairs of People’s Publishing House’s office.
