Fair use rationale for Rosaline

[edit]

It is understood that screenshots can be used if the film is being discussed in the article. The Rosaline article does this, as Zefferelli's film is the only version of Romeo and Juliet which gives Rosaline a visible role. Its use in no way violates the rights of the creators of the film. Also, because it is the only film giving her a visible role, there is no free image available of Rosaline from any other plays or performances. Thus, the Rosaline article's use of the image is justified under the fair use agreement.
