Description Sand Plant (Pholisma arenarium) is a parasite. It connects to its host plant through basal fibers. The most amazing aspect of this delicate beauty is that it emerges in full bloom. This tiny plant had a circumference of 3 in. and a height of one inch. It can go several years without blooming.
