Description
English: The Fletcher Statue. A close up of the bronze by Thomas J Clapperton in 1913 of Fletcher who was the sole survivor of over eighty Selkirk men who fought at the Battle of Flodden in 1513. He is depicted with a halberd in one hand and an English banner in the other hand. See 550772 for a full view of the statue outside Victoria Halls in Scotts Place, Selkirk.
