Summary

Description
English: The shield of the University of St. Michael's College. The crest, depicts the swords and wings of St. Michael. The cross is the symbol of the faith, the book the source of knowledge, both scriptural and academic, the laurels symbolize the arts and the tree represents federation with the University of Toronto. Along the bottom, three words taken from the motto of the Basilian Fathers, the sponsors of the institution: "Teach me goodness, discipline and knowledge."
