Description
English: A tiny species of Zaluzianskya photographed in the grounds of the Vaalputs radioactive waste repository in South Africa. The area is very arid and the plant appeared after unusually good rain. The inflorescence is larger than the parent plant, but measures only about 2X4 cm.

Vaalputs is shown on Google Earth. It lies roughly on the border between Namamaqualand and the South African region of Bushmanland (Not the same as the Namibian region.
