Great Map. But Serbia was semi-autonomous, and Croatia was merely a nomical client state. This needs to be more accurately reflected in the map Hxseek (talk) 10:33, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The, so-called Croatia is completely exageratedly enormous, going into deep Austria... much imprecision. FkpCascais (talk) 04:22, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Principality of Salerno

The Principality of Salerno at the zenith in 1077

Sorry, but the Principality of Salerno was not an autonomous principality of the Bizantine Empire. It was part of the german political entity called Holy Roman Empire.

The bizantines controlled for some years Napoli and Sorrento, but Salerno was NEVER bizantine (as happened with the "Theme" of Calabria and of Puglia).

I believe the map must be corrected.--Spalatino (talk) 03:03, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
