The Light in You is the eighth studio album by American rock band Mercury Rev, released on September 18, 2015, by Bella Union.[1] The Light in You is the band's first entirely self-produced and recorded album, as well as the first not to be produced by longtime collaborator Dave Fridmann.[2]

Upon its release, The Light in You received generally positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album has received an average score of 75 based on 14 reviews.[3]
