Tag Teams listed not actual tag teams

[edit]

So I went back to the linked article containing the roster eligible to be drafted and I don't think we should be listing The Club was broken up as the only two that were a team Gallows and Anderson. AJ Styles counted only as an individual. Same goes for the Wyatt Family (Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, etc.). They may function as a team/faction but they weren't eligible to be drafted as one group. They shouldn't be listed as a team that could be broken up as they weren't recognized as a team to begin with. retched (talk) 01:34, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That's original research on your part and quite questionable. The rules said teams could be drafted as a unit but also that individuals could be drafted alone. There's no saying (and given the scripted nature of the affair: no need to say) whether The Club, The Social Outcasts or The Wyatt Family could have been drafted as a unit. As it went down, Gallows & Anderson were drafted as a team (after AJ Styles had already been drafted) while Styles and members of the other groups were drafted individually (or not at all). Draft rules falsification

[edit]

Some one recently added that claim to the draft rules that NXT champions were exempt from being included in the six draft picks from that brand. After I had trouble opening one of the sources given for the rules - the other sources said nothing of the kind and I clearly remember that no such restriction was included when the rules were presented on air - I managed to open a cached version of the article [1], which reads:

With tonight's WWE Draft on the premiere of SmackDown Live on USA Network fast approaching, WWE.com answers the biggest questions of the WWE Universe with a
breakdown of the official rules, regulations and procedures for one of the biggest nights in WWE history — including a major update that will change the face of
NXT as well.
The rules for the WWE Draft are as follows:
Raw has the first overall pick
Since SmackDown Live is a two-hour show and Raw is three hours, for every two picks SmackDown Live receives, Raw will receive three picks
Tag teams count as one pick unless a Commissioner/General Manager specifically only wants one member of the team
Six draft picks will be made off the NXT roster
The list of current WWE Superstars eligible for the WWE Draft will be as follows:
...

Hence the insertion was false. Str1977 (talk) 10:07, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
