Final Issue

[edit]

I pushed the probable final issue forward by a few years to 1967, per what was in the Usona Esperantisto collection on the ELNA/Esperanto USA website. They've maintained a pretty impressive run of of the various incarnations of EA, and also chart the somewhat erratic publication schedule in the post-war years. Entire years are represented by mimeo flyers explaining why there hasn't been a proper magazine, and for 1965, three issues encompass 12 issue numbers.

For what it's worth, one of those flyers, apologizing for AE's complete absence in 1966, is folded in with the scan of the final issue, stating that EANA members who paid for a membership with a magazine would be receiving a West German bimonthly for the bulk of the year while the EANA attempted to reorganize its publishing efforts.
