Question

[edit]

I have heard/read that Bernal Hill was once nicknamed "Nanny Goat Hill". Other sources seem to claim that this was the name of another hill nearby. Does anyone know which is correct?

I believe that "Nanny Goat Hill" is an old name for Potrero Hill, not Bernal Hill. 71.202.102.104 02:38, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Garrett[reply]

Not true, I know from older residents of Bernal that lived there in the 20s to the 40s, and that was the name used for Bernal, and having been born there I should know, I used to live next to an old Goat Dairy from the 1880's on Anderson St. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.111.180.127 (talk) 06:57, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notice the contribution pattern of this indef blocked user. Both sites are owned by the same individual (confirmed via a whois search). Wikipedia is not a promotional vehicle, and wholesale canvassing of links to a site someone owns or is affiliated with is frowned upon. Despite the "org" domain, madrono is a commercial design agency whose owner happens to be a freelance writer. OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:24, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since the editor is indefinitely blocked, i dont think this is a concern any more. still, any new external links should be checked for relevancy.(mercurywoodrose)75.61.140.19 (talk) 06:17, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge in Bernal Heights Summit?

[edit]

There's a separate page for Bernal Heights Summit, shorter than this one and with some duplication. Maybe it should be merged in to this one? Jef (talk) 02:28, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
