"Since a moving bicycle makes little noise, some countries insist that bicycles have a warning bell for use when approaching pedestrians, equestrians, and other cyclists, though sometimes a car horn can be used when a 12 volt battery is available.[citation needed]"

Not done: The source doesn't support the statement. M.Bitton (talk) 16:09, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unicode, the code point for "bicycle" is 0x1F6B2. The entity 🚲 in HTML produces 🚲.[17] AboutCycle (talk) 20:21, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Tollens (talk) 21:09, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The relationship of bicycles and motorcycles

[edit]

A motorcycle is a motorized bicycle, and while it has evolved, the basic control principles are the same. Plus technology often crosses over (disc brakes are an example to source an explore). I think the link should be shown to a much stronger degree. Especially with the mention of ebikes in the lead section which by definition are a type of electric moped. Electric bikes also do not currently have a clear line between motorcycle and bicycle. At the very least I propose the suggested links include motorcycle. Unicode symbol

[edit]

You could expand the information about U+1F6B2 BICYCLE that it is an emoji and belongs to the Transport and Map Symbols block. It might be superfluous in plain text in an article about transport and not computing, but you could create wikilinks to emoji or Transport and Map Symbols. 83.9.244.138 (talk) 14:21, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
