Band Awards

[edit]

{{editsemiprotected}} Since this topic is in Semi-Moderation, I need somebody to edit it for me. On 27 July 2008, the DHS Wind Ensemble won its 3rd TMEA State Honor Band competition. The line that currently states "The DHS Wind Ensemble has twice been named Texas 5A State Honor Band and has been a finalist 7 times." should now read "The DHS Wind Ensemble has been named the Texas 5A State Honor Band three times (1998, 2004, and 2008) and has been a finalist 8 times." Xenon481 (talk) 13:57, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have made the above change now that I am AutoConfirmed. Xenon481 (talk) 19:34, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Elliott Smith

[edit]

The source for his entry (Rolling Stone discography) is dead. I brought it up using Archive.org, but it doesn't mention his high school, nor does the current bio on Rolling Stone. While it is possible that he went to Duncanville High School for 9th grade (as he was 14 when he moved to Portland from Duncanville), there are no sources available that I can find to confirm this. Thus, I am removing his name from this list. Lara 21:39, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
