Kibbutz Ginnosar is mentioned in two articles "Yigal Allon" and "Sea of Galilee Fishing Boat". Maybe the link from "Allon" should be to the "Sea of Galilee Fishing boat" and the "Sea of Galilee Fishing Boat" should mention that the museum housing the boat was named after Kibbutz Ginnosar's famous son Yigal Allon. Because not much else is of interest to Kibbutz Ginnosar.Ashley kennedy3 (talk) 09:29, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Arguably not the primary topic

[edit]

The name of the ancient city of Kinnereth, according to some - see A. Negev & S. Gibson (2001), Archaeol. Encycl. ..., p. 285: "Kinneret" - was eventually grecised to Ginnosar / Gennesaret, and the fertile plain S of the tell as well as the lake kept that name. I consider the biblical city and the Plain of Ginnosar to be far better known worldwide than the kibbutz (the 1st topic here, in 2008, suggested to leave the kibb. just as a redirect to the ancient boat!). I intend to make following rational changes:
