"Of note, the other goalie for the Tri-City Americans was Carey Price.[4]" - I deleted this as it is not true. Tyler Weiman was the starting goaltender for Tri-City, including the game that Szabados played in —Preceding unsigned comment added by 8.12.153.11 (talk) 01:03, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good call. Even if it was true, it's irrelevant. Resolute 01:41, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Change of team

[edit]

On September 13, 2016 Szabados signed with the Peoria Rivermen. (http://www.pjstar.com/sports/20160920/rivermen-sign-canada-olympic-womens-team-goaltender-shannon-szabados) The article should be updated with this change. If nobody else does it sooner, I will do it when I have time. —Mark Dominus (talk) 16:30, 21 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Inclusion of first marriage

[edit]

The short reference to Szabados’ first marriage to Alex Ritchie has been deleted from this article twice on the basis of “incorrect information.” As the fact is very plainly stated in the provided The New York Times article citation (which has also been twice deleted), I thought it prudent to create a place for the inclusion of the fact to be discussed. The intention when including the reference to Szabados’ first marriage was to include an objectively true piece of information without invasive or extraneous details. If there is an argument to be made for its exclusion, please comment below.
