Home Grounds

[edit]

South Adelaide built their clubroom at the South Road Recreation Grounds in 1929 (the change-rooms built in 1970 were called the "Dan Moriarty Rooms"). Panther Park became South Adelaide's official home ground when it was upgraded in 1969 but home games were still played at Adelaide Oval. They played the VFL team Carlton at Panther Park in 1970 to celebrate the name change from South Rd Recreation Oval to Panther Park. In 1973 the clubrooms were moved from Panther Park to South Road.
