Hook review

Aridd (talk) 22:27, 13 September 2011 (UTC) Information used in the hook has proper citations. Both sources are in Macedonian; one appears to be a news site (Daily Macedonia); the other is a university website. Foreign language sources accepted in good faith. Aridd (talk) 22:27, 13 September 2011 (UTC) Aridd (talk) 22:27, 13 September 2011 (UTC) Interest is inherently subjective, but I find both the hook and the article interesting. And the article certainly doesn't appear to be a mere block translation of Macedonian sources.) Aridd (talk) 22:27, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

  • The article is consciencously written in full accordance with stylistic / structural guidelines. Article is fairly brief but comprehensive in its well-presented coverage of the basics. An article about an example of Ottoman architecture in Macedonia is something we don't see very often, particularly in a DYK, and in my view this is very much a type of article / contribution we should be encouraging in this enclyclopia. It certainly helps compensate for systemic bias. Contains three pictures (duly licenced on Commons), including one historical. Article is good to go for DYK.
