For now, editing and building template -- testing it out in the sandbox, will link up and announce when done! Thx Wikidemo 22:22, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Varietal listing

[edit]

I was trying to fix the cases where Shiraz is mis-linked to the Iranian city, and I can't find a way to make the the text "shiraz" and the link to Shiraz (grape). Any clues? --- The Bethling(Talk) 18:50, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the Infobox should be modified to allow pipe-linking for varietals. I ran into the same issue when trying to disambiguate a link to Muscat. The only option was to change it to the awkward-looking Muscat (grape and wine). Nick Number (talk) 15:01, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've run into the same problem. If any template programmers are paying attention, this is a place where a fix is needed. SchreiberBike talk 23:33, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
done, just use standard wikilinked text (varietal1 = [[Muscat (grape)|Muscat]]). for example, this edit. Frietjes (talk) 00:19, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Logo parameter

[edit]

Can we update the logo parameter to work the same as {{infobox company}}? The winery infobox requires the user to put the brackets around the file name, and to choose a file size. The normal {infobox company} automatically sizes the logo. No idea how templates work, but it shouldn't be too hard to copy and paste, right? Faceless Enemy, done. Frietjes (talk) 16:22, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thank you! Faceless Enemy (talk) 17:57, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Is there a particular reason why image= is not also shown as an optional parameter, along with logo= ?  JGHowes  talk 14:19, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
