Hello there Countdewiki, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Feel free to drop me a question on my talk page.

If you need help (which I can’t answer), put {{helpme}} on your talk page. It is also a good idea to explain what your problem on Wikipedia is, it helps you and your helper!

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If another Wikipedian criticizes what you have done check what Wikipedia is not to avoid this happening again/ever. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy editing!

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you.

If you do have a problem with this AfD, I'd like to politely request that you take it up here as I only nominated this article because I was asked to by another #wikipedia-bootcamp user who was busy, and assumed they had checked it out. Thanks for contributing. --Xyrael T 21:40, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please cease your reverting of this page. If you revert more than three times in a 24-hour period you may be blocked for up to 24 hours. Ideogram 22:30, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy against vandalism. To contest this block, please reply here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock}} along with the reason you believe the block is unjustified, or email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list.
Note to sysops: Unblocking yourself should almost never be done. If you disagree with the block, contact another administrator.  (aeropagitica)  (talk)  05:33, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked for one month for repeated vandalism and sockpuppetry related to Greg Bravo (Gary Scott). See Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser#Musicknight for confirmation.  (aeropagitica)  (talk)  05:33, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It was the other users partipating in the dispute who are using the sockpuppets. I only followed their lead when it came to editing and was actually more restrained! Ugh!--Countdewiki 06:01, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No unblock. Two wrongs don't make a right, you can't excuse your own behaviour because someone elses was worse. --pgk(talk) 07:17, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That is a lie!

[edit]

Of course this is an outright lie, is arbitrary and capricious, unfair, and it is apparent that someone has put you up to this (whoever you are). It does not speak well for the credibility of Wikipedia either. As old music, old movies, and old TV programs are a passion of mine it is a little disappointing but what can I do?

Whatever happened to "Don't Bite the Newbies"?

Does this mean I won't get my paycheck at the end of the month?

Pot Calling the Kettle Black

[edit]

Now, Ideogram, you sound like just like the proverbial "pot calling the kettle black!" One only has to review the history tabs of the Greg Bravo (Gary Scott) article to see just how much you have violated the above policy. By my calculation, you should be blocked for a month! If nobody obeys the rules then there is no rules, and everyone may do as they please.

Your neutrality, involvement, and disregard for the rules in this case has been called into question a number of times so please cool off, shake hands, and let's move on to the next subject (whatever that is).

In your favor, I will add that it seems to me that you have superior scholastic and linguistic abilities that can better be utilized at the Pentagon or something. Seriously! Therefore, I would politely suggest that you raise the bar for all the other users. You have the intelligence, now you need to know how to harness it when it comes to mediation and editing.
