Seven sisters articles

[edit]

Hey there, I saw you created several articles, which is great. Just a quick note: If you make a mistake with the title, do not recreate the article and request deletion. Use the move-feature to redirect to a new place. Also, please note to use descriptive titles - adding "(law)" is not very good as it implies a law practice, not a law firm. I thus moved the article to Seven Sisters (law firms). But apart from that, keep up the great work. Regards SoWhy 19:12, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thanks a lot for the help with the article. As I noted I didn't want an improper title but I couldn't find how to change a title. Thanks for your advice on move. I based my title on Magic Circle (law) which i very similar to the Canadian Seven Sisters. I assumed that would be a standard way to refer to anything that had to do with law, but i do like (law firms better) I hope this worked, i've never used Talkback before--Pnewhook (talk) 19:24, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome. You might want to read the criteria for speedy deletion and the deletion policy for future uses. As for the title, you can read the naming conventions to determine how to make correct article names. In this case the article does not refer to the law but to a company working in that area, which is why I moved it.
As for talkback, it worked fine. You can place them at the very top of talk pages like I do instead of creating a new section. {{Talkback}} is designed to be removed once the other person registers your reply so you can place it to easily remove it. But how you handle talk pages is your personal choice :-) SoWhy 19:42, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
