Willem Pieter Landzaat

[edit]

I have removed your silly tags on the article Willem Pieter Landzaat. The sources you could not find, are at the bottom under the header "Sources". About the notability: Landzaat was awarded the Military William Order, highest award for bravery, equivalent to the Victoria Cross and the Medal of Honor. Ariel Roth article

[edit]

Hi SmittysmithIII, I appreciate your input on the Ariel Roth talk page. I am also interested in a pdf copy of Roth's book. I think you can find my email posted on my user page. Thanks. DonaldRichardSands (talk) 03:32, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Genesis creation narrative. Please comment on the content and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 20:35, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Adam's rib

[edit]

Genesis creation narrative. You might find something useful abt the rib/Eve's place in this book. If you want to use it, make it a little sentence about the various views that have been put forward. For the Mary Ellen Smith thing, Phyllis Trible is the one you want if you want a modern statement of the same idea - I couldn't find anything on a brief search but I'm sure it's there somewhere. [edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Scriptural geologist, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page George Young (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your recent editing history at Uniformitarianism shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. —Machine Elf 1735 01:27, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think you need to approach an admin - I don't know much about the procedures for the resolution of problems between editors. I suggest you try dougweller

Wikipedia Help Survey

[edit]

Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.

Thank you for your time,
