At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to List of Presidents of the United States, sortable by previous experience, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. SBaker43 (talk) 21:28, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this edit, but I've undone it, because it's better to use the original timestamp. Just remember to sign your messages with four tildes for next time. Graham87 07:23, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Counting to 100

[edit]

The next time you count to 100, note that 102 does not appear on the way. The earlier version documents the position precisely the way our guideline tells us to, as uncharted, with a footnote that indicates the position on the corresponding Bubbling Under chart.—Kww(talk) 05:21, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

Yes, we have many ignorant editors that cannot count. Don't be one of them. The correct formatting is a dash with a footnote indicating that it reached a certain position on the Bubbling Under chart.—Kww(talk) 21:18, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please fix your signature

[edit]

I don't mind you using a different name, but at least pipe the link rather than using a redirect. If you no longer have "WikiBrainHead" as your username, theoretically someone else can lay claim to it, meaning your sig would link to their page, and it makes it impossible to find your edits in the page history using your username and the direction of the link -- it requires either clicking onto your page or doing some annoying magic involving time stamps and the phases of the moon.

Since I live in a country that doesn't have DST but have the Wikipedia display time set to UTC, and while your sig shows the time "Publish changes" was clicked the page history shows the time your edit was actually saved, it's really not worth the effort of figuring out from the time stamp which of these two edits was yours, so that's a whole lot of clicking just to find that one edit. (See my reply that comment to know why it mattered to me exactly when you made that edit.)

Also (and I realized this after finishing the rest of this message and most of the reply on the article talk page), I don't know if copy-pasting your username out of your signature will allow me to ping you. I see no reason why it would, and certainly in the long term if someone else did usurp your old username it definitely shouldn't, but that's just one more way that not hinting at your current username anywhere in your signature makes things more inconvenient for others.

And then I checked your contribs and noticed that changing your username was the most recent thing you've done on-wiki. Not sure if you've updated your signature yet. Sorry if you already thought of all the above. Hijiri 88 (やや) 03:38, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Hijiri88: Yeah I haven't been on in the past 2 days due to a computer malfunction, so I didn't have a chance to change my username. Also, I don't know if this signature is fine, since I didn't directly state where my talk page is, but it's still linked, so I would like some feedback if possible.
