Question from Yv1515 (09:34, 22 September 2024)

[edit]

hello sir I need your help for create new page for company wikipedia --Yv1515 (talk) 09:34, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yv1515, does the company that you want to create an article about have significant coverage outside of sources connected to the company itself? Also, do you have any connection to this company at all? Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 01:38, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
yes they have all top required sources . yes they are my friends company 2409:4090:200C:BA02:6DD0:FEC:AA4:9D6E (talk) 07:31, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yv1515, First off, try not to edit while logged out, and login with your actual account. Second off, you would then have a connection with the subject, and as such should NOT be creating an article. Thirdly, you would have to make sure the sources you have are not connected to the subject in any way, and are third party sources which have a reputation for rigorous fact checking. can you able to make this company page for us ? 2409:4090:200C:BA02:6002:7641:C0CA:539 (talk) 10:03, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page visitor) Hi! If you want the page to be created, you should first check if the company is notable. In Wikipedia jargon, notable doesn't mean "important" or "famous", but rather that there are enough good independent sources to write an encyclopedia article about it.
As Yoshi said, you shouldn't be creating the article directly. The best way is to go through the Wikipedia:Articles for creation process, where you can write a draft to have it reviewed by a volunteer. There are some help guides you can read here and here too! Yv1515, see the above message. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 17:38, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your support Cottoletto (talk) 19:15, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

my aunt died, connie capozzi. you can let my edit go through, thanks! Ridethewave23 (talk) 23:11, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ridethewave23, you still need a reliable source that demonstrates that she did indeed die. You don't count as a source. We need an online source, from a reliable source that shows she died. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 23:31, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding input source

[edit]

Dear Yoshi I have Source like news portal news. If needed I can provide but how could i input source in my editing. And How could I give new Wikipedia info to you. If I want to open a new wiki info about any person then how its possible to publish. I want to contribute and share with you in Wikipedia. Thanks for understanding. regards. Olive. 70.27.155.112 (talk) 23:12, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The newspapers cited in this wiki entry do not support the statements that they are connected to. I tried to correct it but Yoshi reverted the article without even checking to see if it was true. Why? 190.148.252.237 (talk) 21:21, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Then go fix it! I only reverted you because you were talking in the article, which we discourage. If you think they don't support the statements, go ahead and remove it while explaining your edits in the edit summary. Thanks! Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 21:26, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello my friend, you just wrongly reverted my edition in the article FIFA Club World Championship, with a merge request opened there (also with primary and secondary sources saying the same, and consensus - but not unanimous). We have all elements to make the move! Please respect Wikipedia rules! We are a faction here making Wikipedia better, bigger and more accurate! CrazyLoverFutbolLoko (talk) 00:22, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

CrazyLoverFutbolLoko, if you would have read, it says very clear at the top of the page, This action may only be done by an administrator. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 00:25, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but what admin should I contact? I didn't know that! CrazyLoverFutbolLoko (talk) 00:28, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
CrazyLoverFutbolLoko, thank you for for your honesty. I would wait, because an admin has said that you clearly do not have consensus for the time being. See the comment by Black Kite left on I believe the talk page of FIFA Club World Championship. What you should do, is wait for people to respond to your history merge request first. What we would like is for uninvolved editors to discuss the merge first. I hope this helps. Because of this, I will be undoing your revert of my revert, because there isn't any consensus yet, and it seems an admin objects to it right now. Hope you understand. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 00:32, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, please remove your comment about me from 1st Act's talk page, please. It makes it look like its my fault. Thanks. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Very Busy) 00:35, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You welcome! We clear have consensus (not unanimity), also we have primary and secondary sources saying the same! I already opened a discussion in the FIFA Club World Championship talk page and I will wait for the admin to move the article to FIFA Club World Championship/Cup (2000–2023), but we need to keep Wikipedia updated!
