Updating the look of the project page

[edit]

Hello to anybody watching the project page. I feel the current design leaves a lot to be desired, so I'm stealing the look from the newest team project, WP:BRAVES, to hopefully give us a better look. I'm going out of town for the weekend but will keep working on this next week. If anyone wants to help out, please edit at User:Muboshgu/WP:YANKEES. There are kinks I need to work out and content that needs to be added. Thanks. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:38, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, why not, I will do that myself. JJ98 (Talk / Contributions) 20:32, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I just changed it back. There's some bugs that need to be worked out in user space before it's ready. – Muboshgu (talk) 03:36, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Anybody want to help me make this happen? We have some work to do. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:08, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Importance

[edit]

Half of the articles in this project currently don't have an importance rating. I'm suggesting the below as importance criteria for the project:

Article importance grading scheme
Label Criteria Examples
Top Subject is a "core" or "key" topic for the Yankees, or is generally notable to people other than students of the Yankees. They define and determine the subject of the New York Yankees WikiProject. This should include the 27 World Series championships, Hall of Famers notable to non-baseball experts, etc. New York Yankees, 2009 World Series, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio
High Subject is notable in a significant and important way within the field of the Yankees, but not necessarily outside it. This includes Hall of Famers not well known to non-baseball experts, Monument Park honorees, etc. Phil Rizzuto, Allie Reynolds
Mid Subject contributes to the total subject of the New York Yankees WikiProject. Subject may not necessarily be famous. This includes managers, Opening Day starting pitchers, All-Stars, award winners, first round draft picks, etc. Joe Girardi, Chien-Ming Wang, Brien Taylor
Low Subject is not particularly notable or significant even within the field of the Yankees, and may have been included primarily to achieve comprehensive coverage of another topic. This includes most Yankees players, coaches, etc. Clay Bellinger, Bobby Cox

Thoughts? – Muboshgu (talk) 18:16, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain why this novel has no article. The movie came from this book.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 08:13, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Image needed to be made for #6 that is to be retired

[edit]

Can anyone make a #6 image to eventually put in the retired numbers section? It has been announced here. 173.51.123.97 (talk) 05:43, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
