University Cup

The six teams that advanced to the tournament are listed below. The Champions of each conference tournament received automatic bids and were seeded 1–3. The OUA runner-up McGill received the Quebec bid held by OUA. The spot reserved for the host went to Canada West runner-up Saskatchewan due to host Alberta winning their conference championship. The rotating wild-card spot was held by the OUA and went to Wilfrid Laurier on the basis that they won a game in their division semifinal series while Quebec–Trois-Rivières, who possessed a better record, was swept 0–2.
