The 2024–25 Hockey India League will be the sixth season of the Hockey India League. It will be held from 28 December 2024 to 1 February 2025.[1]
On 10 April 2023, Hockey India announced Big Bang Media Ventures Pvt. Ltd. as its exclusive commercial and marketing partner agency for the league.[2] The plan is to have 8 teams for men's and 6 for women's competition.[3]
Format
[edit]Eight teams will be placed in a group to play home-away round-robin matches. The top four teams qualified for the knockout stage.[4] Playing eleven, teams had to have a minimum of two and a maximum of five foreign players.[5]
