Abdul-Haleem Ismail Al-Mutaafi

Abdul-Haleem Ismail Al-Mutaafi was the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation of Sudan in 2012. He is a representation of the Islamic Front in the protectionist government. He is accused of large-scale corruption cases and arrest after the revolution of April 6, 2019. He was imprisoned in Kober Prison in Khartoum and later released after the 2021 coup. He is a Sudanese doctor, a graduate of the University of Khartoum. He was born in 1954 AD in the White Nile State, Al-Dawim city. Brother of Professor Al-Tijani Ismail Muhammad Al-Jazouli, Director of the Islamic Translation Institute. Member of the National Congress Party. He held a number of political positions: Governor of Sennar, Governor of the White Nile, Minister of Industry of Khartoum State, Minister of Finance of the Red Sea, Khartoum State, then Minister of Federal Agriculture of Khartoum State.
