Alberto Oscar Fontela

Alberto Oscar Fontela (born December 13, 1974)[1] is an Argentine inventor recognized for developing advanced glass protection technology for vehicles. [1] He is currently engaged in various innovations in his field.[2] Recent works have been published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). These include extending patent applications to multiple patent offices worldwide through the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).[1][2]

Biography

Fontela was born on December 13, 1974, in Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is the son of Nelida Ana Hartung and Oscar José Isaak Fontela.[3][4]

Fontela is best known for his innovations in vehicle security technology.[4] He developed a patented glass protection system designed to serve as an anti-assault shield. This system uses advanced polymers to enhance the strength and resilience of vehicle glass, offering significant protection against various types of attacks and break-ins.[4][5]

Fontela's technological contributions have been acknowledged with multiple patents in several countries.[6] In the United States, he holds the patents US 2017/0072662 A1,[7][8] published on March 16, 2017;[8] US 2018/0281356 A1,[7] published on October 4, 2018;[7] and US 10,093,079 B2, with a patent date of October 9, 2018.[7][6][8] In Mexico, he was granted patent MX2018002555A on December 2, 2021.[7][6] In Brazil, he holds patent BR 112018004619-1,[8] granted on September 25, 2018.
